After several years of Cochrane homes being more affordable than their Calgary counterparts, the tables have once again turned. As of June 2026, Cochrane homes are 0.5% more expensive than their Calgary counterparts. The massive influx of Calgary multi-family (i.e. condos & townhomes) builds have resulted in a significant excess of inventory in that city; a fact that has driven Calgary prices down quicker than their Cochrane counterparts.
